I’m a little disappointed that this book didn’t give much detail on the individual cards. The major arcana cards have approximately two short paragraphs each and the minors have one short paragraph. It’s about as much information as you will get from the little white books that come with tarot decks. So, if it’s information on the cards you want, you probably won’t be happy with this book. This book is mostly about spreads and that information is decent. The book just wasn’t what I was looking for. The title of the book suggests that this book is a “handbook for the tarot practitioner.” This sounds like it’s a book for an advanced reader, but that is not the case. If you’re an advanced reader, you will probably not learn much from this book. If you're new to tarot, you may find this information helpful if you can find an inexpensive used copy.Product details

One of the best Tarot book I ever read...I am surprised that nobody else write about it...and the price is so low, it is ridiculous!
Excellent, informative book. Arrived in good condition.
Not so great. I did not get much out of it. There are much better out there.
The most of the books shows only a few examples of interpretation. You never has the possibility to test really your skills against a more experienced practitioner. I use the tarot since I had 14 years old, i have 40 today. However, I have only scientific curiosity about it. This means that I never use it before taking a decision, only after, to find if I forgot some important detail, because I think that the tarot it is only a way to train you skill to interpret the life without any help, you should never depend of it. So, I use it rarely, and in this 26 years I used maybe 3 or 4 times by year. Because this, I always had doubts about my skill in use it. After use this book, even without consult its individual cards interpretations, I discovered that I was able to reply correctly 9 in 10 questions. Probably none another book provides so much chances to test your skills in tarot.
